Had a chance to dine at o calcutta silver spring kolkata, well this restaurant serves the best bengali food I have come accross in kolkata, this huge dining place termed as private dining is very neatly done.
Reminds you or the era of the british raj, the layout is quite spread and they ofeer a private area also for a small group, to talk abouy food we had starters of bhetki flavoured in garlic and cheese balls with a nice golden crust, both the starters of amazing taste n flavour.
For the main coursr we tried some hilsa in mustard flavour called sorse bhapa illish, which was beyond expectation, we also tried lobsters in coconut called daab chingri with an amazing pulao flavoured with black pepper and tomatoes my instant favourite, also our vegetarisn friends had aloo posto, channar dal with luchis, eveything amazing not to forget the desserts of baked sandesh and mishti doi. this place is a bit heavy on pockets but would like to visit again definately.
