Ohri’s Cuisine Court formerly known as Havmor, which was famous for its icecreams and snacks turned out to be an utter disappointment for us 2 out of 3 times. I had the opportunity to visit Gufaa, Havmor and Silver Metro on 3 different occasions. The ambience at the restaurants is very good but the service was bad except at Havmor. The food was good, but the helpings were small compared to other good restaurants. The music was too loud and the speed of service was absolutely slow. At Silver Metro, the waiter attending us, brought the food from the kitchen and due to some unavoidable circumstances had to leave it at the counter. The food was lying there for a good 20 minutes and inspite of repeated requests to other waiters around, nobody bothered to serve it. After a good shouting, the waiter attending the next table reluctantly brought the cold food, and was trying to serve the same. Upon refusal to accept cold food, they went and brought fresh food. At the Gufaa we had a similar experience. They need to have well qualified professionals to attend to the guests and not contract workers. One should make an advance reservation, especially on a holiday or weekend and more so if one wants have a dinner. If one doesn’t make a reservation he / she may have to wait for anything between 20 minutes to a good 1 hour. Though they take the names of people waiting to get a table, but sadly they don’t stick to the order. To get into Silver Metro we had to wait a good 45 minutes. Havmor that way has been a contrast, the staff is absolutely courteous and tries to maintain the reputation of Havmor.
