Oil of Olay Age Defying Protective Renewal Lotion. What a long name for a product that is short on delivery.
Although it has a very pleasant scent and an SPF rating of 15 that’s about all I can really say about this on the positive side. Here in the bright UV rays of the sun in Florida, anything with a sunscreen in it is worth trying. Especially if it also promises to make all your little laugh lines disappear.
I used it religiously for about two months and all I can tell it did for me was to make my skin quite oily and break out a lot.
All the little telltale lines and wrinkles I had before using this product were there when I stopped using it.
Also, when I used this product at night, before bed, I’d wake up in the morning with puffy eyes and greasy feeling skin.
I did find a good use for it though, in a pinch, if I run out of my sunscreen, I rub it on my arms and legs(NOT on my face). It has, as I said a SPF of 15 and it’s not totally going to waste now.
I doubt if there really is a product out there that actually will get rid of those little lines and wrinkles, but until then, we’ll keep trying, won’t we?
