It's ok ok jaanu

’Ok jaanu’ is a romantic drama portraying the live-in relationship between a young game designer and an architecture graduate. On the whole, the movie captivates the interest of viewers who fancy love stories but those looking for strong storyline and exceptional performances may get a bit disappointed.

Cast:

Aditya Roy Kapur as Adi

Shraddha Kapoor as Tara

Naseeruddin Shah

Leela Samson

Karan Nath

Plot:

Adi - a game designer from Lucknow and Tara - an architect are broad-minded youngsters who eventually meet at a wedding where the flow of a simple conversation leads them to find out their mutual feelings about marriage. Both of them aspire to emigrate in future and decide to give live-in relationship a shot before they part their ways.A lot of romance coated with drama and alluring moments with usage of phrase ’ok jaanu’ happens further. However, as expected, time deepens their feeling for each other and as the time for their departure approaches, the couple is left with an important decision to make, which on the other hand was quite predictable.

Cast Performance:

When it comes to romance and chemistry, both the lead actors have already set marks through their previous movie ’Aashiqui 2’, and fully justified the role of romantic liberal youngsters but the enchant that was seen previously was missing to some extent. The boat of great performances was rowed by strong supporting cast - Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samson.

Music:

Songs are composed by Oscar laureate A.R Rahman and are penned down by the great Gulzar.Remixed ’humma humma’ is also one of the pros of this movie.

Conclusion:

To conclude, ’Ok jaanu’ is broadening the concept of live-in relationship. However, still the movie seems quite familiar to other bollywood love stories. Those fan of love stories may go for it while those fan of strong storyline better spend their money somewhere else.
