Don’t buy okinawa scooters unless they give you warranty on batteries for 2 or more years.Otherwise you will felt cheated like me. I bought okinawa ridge model scooter in june 2018. Seller and website promise 90 km per charge and top speed 60 kmph .I thought if not 90 km per charge even 60 km is fair enough for me. I was happy that I can save on fuel and refueling mess is gone. But I was surprised to see that it gives only 42-45 km per charge.I also found out that the speed and distance meter are also faulty they always give higher readings .Higher readings always misguide you that your scooter run more per charge and with high speed. I was shocked to see that the error is close to 30%(both in speed and distance) .I inform the seller about same he told me as charge and discharge cycle of battery increase its performance will improve.In end of june 2019 my scooter start giving 10 km per charge and to my bad luck this poor performance only starts after 15 days of expire of battery warranty.Seller says I have to buy new set of batteries of worth Rs 17000. I mailed my problem to head office they did not have courtesy to even reply me .To make my scooter run again I have to invest Rs 17000 which bring the cost to Rs 79000.This is the worst decision of my life.If I calculate I saved only Rs 6000 on fuel. I know that the market of e vehicle in India is still grooming but I suggest to middle class families, don’t buy it, its a huge dent on pocket.
