I have been living in Oklahoma for 4 years now. Personally I love this place, may be because I had no other choice. If you like american football this is the best place to be in.
Oklahoma sooners, the University of Oklahoma’s (also called OU, nope not Osmania University :)) football team is the best team, well one of the best team, in college football. You might have already guessed it, I am a proud alumni of that school.
Oklahoma is a conservative, quite place. Best place to live in Oklahoma is Tulsa. It is very interesting place. It was called, correct me if I am wrong, the Golden state during 60’s mostly because of its oil resources. Arkansas river flows across the city. The riverside park is the best. In this state gambling is banned, you won’t find many happening places.
I guess night life virtually doesn’t exists. It is a typical ultra conservative place. If you want to spend a quite time, this is the best place. People are very good here, polite and helpful.
