Been using OLA CAB services for many years now, and frankly its sometimes good and sometimes not so good.
Good because it’s easy to get, you can track the time it will take to reach you, pre-known fares, driver and car information, time for pick-up arrival, route information, payment modes, etc.
Bad because while using their share ride, it can take you just opposite from your final destination and increase the overall ride time to a very large extent. It should be OKAY to pick anyone on the way, but going out-of-the-way in opposite direction just to pick someone who might show and might now show is too much time-killing. I feel in shared rides there should be some algorithm to determine how much the CAB can or should deviate from the source and destination of passenger who booked first.
Rest everything is good if you are using the non-shared services.
