A few days back, while coming back home from Santacruz(W), I booked an OLA Cab, the estimated time they showed was around 4-5 minutes away. And I was able to see the drivers location in the map, which was not that far away from where I was standing. After waiting for around 5 minutes, I called the driver on the number which was provided by the OLA App. The first time the phone rang, he disconnected the call. And when I tried for the 2nd time, the operator said that the person Im trying to reach is busy on another call. And this happened again and again when I tried calling for more 4-5 times. Waiting for a cab in this rainy season and the unprofessional behaviour of the driver just screwed my mind and was super annoying.
Than I had no option other than cancelling my ride. and then once again I booked the cab. This time the driver fortunately picked up my call and came after around 5-7 minutes. While I completed my ride the driver asked me for money more than what it was showing in the App. Than on asking he told me that I was being charged for the ride which I had cancelled before. I had no other option, than paying for someone elses mistake and unprofessional behaviour.
After that I mailed them about this issue, but I dint get my cash back. There was no response from the other side.
I even felt the OLA Cabs are a bit more expensive than other cabs. The rides are being overcharged.
I already have deleted the OLA Cabs App from my phone.
This bad experience will never make me feel like booking the OLA Cabs ever in my life.!
