The management at OLA cabs does not care about the customers or their partners.
Many time the driver cancel the rides even without any valid reason from rider's point of view.
I dont blame the driver as they also suffer to earn reasonable money, all the blame goes to the OLA management.
The driver has to complete their incentive targets in order to earn incentives, which their only revenue because after deducting the fuel and maintenance charges incentives is what the really earn.
The company deducts more than 26% from the customer's bill ( 20% commission and 5% GST plus 1% TDS) .
The remaining 74% is what the cab owner gets, and if you deduct the driver's pay+ fuel+ maintenance charges nothing is left as revenue, so they have to fulfil their targets to earn incentives.
And here the game really gets started, the driver only focuses on the incentive target, that's why they cancel the ride if the ride route and amount is not according to their incentives requirements. For example if they need to collect more Rs. 200 to achieve the target then they will accept only those ride whose amount will be around Rs. 200-250, if the estimated amount exceeds then the driver will cancel without ang hesitation!
Very poor management!
