I had booked a cab in Bangalore, pickup at 11 PM from Neotown, Electronics City on 7th December which was booked 2 days well in advance on 5th December.
When I didnt get the message after 10 PM, I called up 08033553355 and was told that Ill get cab details in 15 minutes, when even after 20 minutes I didnt get a message, I dialed again and was told by the representative that the cab wont arrive because there was no cab available in that area. Then the representative told me that hell arrange another cab and will give me a call back.
Yet when I didnt get a call, I dialed 08033553355 again and this time some other representative answered, I told him the same thing, this time he rudely said that he suggests me to get an alternate cab arranged.
So if the cab is cancelled, they dont let me know about it in advance, and they tell me this after I call them repeatedly.
Also when I have aconfirmed booking, booked 2 days well in advance, and they still cant provide a cab, what kind of company do they run?
So, it seems that this is normal for OIa, ditching customers late in the night post 11 PM without any prior intimation and that too 30 kms from the destination.
I wrote them a mail and I was about to hit the consumer courts and then the founder or CEO called me to apologize for it. I am never using Ola cabs again.
Ola cabs need to learn the meaning of the wordConfirmed, it will help them running their business, not that they care anyway.
