I have been one of the frequent user of your service; but today I had pathetic experience. Let me narrate in sequential order –
On 18th Jul, thru OLA app, had booked a cab for 20th for 5.15am IST to get dropped to Railway station from BSK III Stage(Ref No. CRN101481891) @ 10.14am IST & received the acceptance notification as well
On 20th Jul @ 4.56am IST got a SMS about my Cab details stating free upgrade – CRN101481891 / Driver Madan L(+917022533494) / Toyoto Etiod KA02 AE5003
@ 5.12am IST, Got a call from the above Driver(+918030752420) stating he would reach my point in next 10 Mins
@ 5.14am IST, got a SMS stating updated details as Driver Ravichandra(+919742529344) / Tata Indica KA64 1099 would be picking me @5.15am IST
@5.28am IST, when I called the new Driver Ravichandra(+919742529344), he said he is not going to come since he is not ON DUTY!
@5.31am IST, when I called the first driver Madan(+917022533494), he denied coming stating it is FAR!
@5.32am IST, tried to reach the first no. whom I had received my call in the mor(+918030752420), the person who spoke to me said it has been cancelled & OLA doesn’t take any such advance booking & asked me to rebook again using “RIDE NOW” option. Time is 5.32 am & I had my Train @ 6am IST)
@5.33am IST, finally again I booked using the above(Ref No. CRN102139611) drive Anil(+919731559297) was put in action
@5.39am IST, I boarded the cab & he is kind enough to take me ON NICK OF TIME & reached my Railway station @ 5.57am IST wherein I had just 3 mins to catch my train
Thanks to Anil who took me to my destination within 15 mins!
This is the first such pathetic experience I have undergone from OLA. If you are not accepting such advance booking, then why are you sending such acceptance notification! If it was denied on Saturday when I booked; I could have looked for alternate option.
Do you understand I have to literally RUN to catch my train & I boarded the MOOVING train; anything could have happened at that moment!
