On Thursday I called to book a cab, while I was talking the phone it went on hold & it remained that way till next day afternoon. though I got a message to book the cab online. Friday I called from another number to book the cab for an 8 hour 80 kms package & the girl on the phone was so confused! :(
I mentioned very clearly what my requirements after hearing she first said cab is available then suddenly said I have to check & see if the cab the available. Then she informed me only a Sedan is available where as I was looking for a small car (Indica) as the sedan costs extra. I was trying to tell her that previous night I spoke to the guy he said cab was available & becoz of your call issues I could not make the booking, but she said she cant do anything about it.
As I had no option I told her to book the Sadan as I had to travel, then she suddenly said but the cab is only available at 3 pm (I mentioned clearly I wanted at 2 pm) which was irritating! When I made I call I had told her my requirements.
Anyway again I had to adjust to the timings also, but one more mess the girl had done. Till date none of the drivers have had any issues finding my address but the driver assigned to me went to Aundh! He said & he also showed me the SMS he had received which mentioned the society name & Aundh! How dumb the driver wasted half an hour roaming in Aundh & 20 kms extra, which he said I have to pay!
I did not comment any thing when we started as was already late & decided to talk to OLA directly. I had to go to Sanaswadi which is exactly 56 kms from my residence & back home. Total I should be around 112 but the driver never did his reading 0 as he was roaming in Aundh & started that way. I told him to make the reading 0 but he did not. End of the day he said my kms was 133 & I think he charged me extra. I would not have mind if her had charged me around 120 but he extracted more money & it was both the booking lady’s & the drivers mistake for which I had to pay extra & really felt CHEATED! :(
Also the driver at Sanaswadi after dropping me said that he has to leave & a new cab will come. I told him you are booked for 8 hours & why a new cab is now coming in the middle, for which he said he has got a call & he has to got to Gujarat for which he is getting a huge fare of 30, 000 Rs. So obviously he is not bothered for the current customers.
Now I got irritated as I had an infant with me & could not just wait so called OLA. The person was sensible he waived off the 20 kms but he assured that a new cab will arrive in 15 min. I was helpless so agreed. After finishing my work when I returned I found the old driver & he said he could not go as there was a lot of traffic & returned back (unhappily) to drop us back.
Over all a bad experience. :(
