We had the worst experience travelling by ola cabs. Once we booked ola cab from from Chennai Central to Vadapalani. The driver came 20 minutes late more over he was rude.On the way to Vadapalani, my husband got down the cab at an ATM, before my husband came, he had started the cab and tried to move, I shouted at him then he stopped the cab.
Though unpleasant, we reached Vadapalani. We got down and my husband found his mobile phone missing, he said that he left it in the cab, immediately he called the cab driver, the cab was not so far, it was at our view, the driver answered our call and said that he left the place, he could not come back, he cut the call off. My husband called him again, but this time he switched his phone off.
We registered a complaint against the cab driver in the ola website but nothing happened. No response from ola.Worst cab service ever.
Ola appoints illiterate and un trained cab drivers. Ola cabs have central lock system, I mean child lock system so passanger cannot open the door himself or herself untill the driver opens it so it is not safe.
This is my experience with ola, others may have good experience too but my advice to all is be cautious while travelling. Don’t trust cab drivers easily.
