Me and 3 of my friends planned to go out to a park around a month ago. We all met at ones home and decided to book an ola cab to reach there. While one of us had the app pre-installed in his phone, he booked an i10 car.
Our destination was 8 KM away from the picking spot. The app was showing that car will be arrived in 5 min. but it was taking too long, so we called on drivers cell and then he told us that hes stuck in traffic. Finally, he arrived in 15 min. .
Both driver and us didnt wanted to go back to the same road from where he came(the blocked road), so he asked us about any alternate option. Since, I knew the other free route so I assisted him for some time untill he catched the route GPS was suggesting. Driver was a bit talkative I think, so all 4 of us and driver were chatting during the whole ride and and was a good experience. His diving skills were good and drove smoothly. It took us around 20-25 min. to reach the destination.
But here comes the BAD THING. When we reached the park, it was the payment time. We all know that the total payable amount is shown both in the drivers phone(which is used for GPS) as well as in that persons phone who booked the cab. But here, both the phones were showing different totals. Yes, in my friends phone it was around Rs.110 and in drivers phone it was showing Rs.150.
We gave him Rs.150 and driver told us to complaint about this issue on their costumer care phone number, by saying this the driver left. But when we called the number.it was saying that the number is wrong and when we called from other phone, no one picked.
