I booked a Ola ride on the evening of 24th Dec 2021, (CRN 5895685679) I kept the payment mode for the ride as UPI Phonepe. I took the said Ola ride with Ola driver Anis Vasim Khan and when the ride was about to end I tried to make the online payment via UPI phonepe but the Ola app got freezed and wasn’t allowing me to complete the payment . As the ride got ended and the app was not allowing online payment, the Ola driver called the Ola partner care contact and the Ola assistant told him to collect Rs484/- cash from me and the Ola assistant also told that this cash payment will be soon adjusted in the system and my ride will be marked paid. So I got assured and paid the Ola driver in cash but still after 48 hrs passed the app is showing me the payment for the ride pending and Ola is shamelessly asking me to pay Rs.484/- online for which I have already paid in cash to Ola driver Anis Vasim Khan. I am constantly trying to reach Ola customer care number which is of no use as Ola official customer care number shows invalid, so I mailed the issue to their official mail ID : support@olacabs.com but no response from Ola . I mailed the issue to Ola again for resolution but no response....I doubt how such poor customer support can be expected from a Brand like Ola cabs. I am going ahead to Uninstall fraudulent app like Ola cabs from my phone and shall never recommend to anyone if I don’t get to hear from them in next 24 hrs. Shall also recommend people to be aware of such fraudulent activities from Ola cabs.
