Today(11/11/2014) I booked a cab form Old washermenpet Chennai to Neelankarai Chennai. Booking ID is: CRN15369582. I had an amount of Rs. 1000 in my ola wallet before I booked the ride. So once the ride is completed I was expecting the money in ola wallet to be debitted. But instead the driver claimed that the device is showing money and I need to pay it in cash.
Though I argued that I have balance in my Ola wallet, I had to pay cash of Rs. 426 to the driver. After I called Ola customer service a few minutes back they mentioned that the amount was not debited due to a technical problem(i.e) a problem with the device that the driver had. So I requested them to debit the ride amount Rs. 426 from my Ola wallet and credit the same in my bank account.
I went for this option as these people dont offer cabs in critical times specifying that there are no more pre-bookings allowed or simply saying they dont have cabs. But I was told that refunding money is not allowed as per their policy and they specified this problem wont repeat in future. So I asked them to transfer the call to higher officials who can help me to get my money in my bank account. They transferred the call to another guy and he too mentioned the same. Again I asked for the call transfer to his supervisor. I just wanted to let their supervisors know this problem and how it will affect a customer.
The third guy also mentioned the same thing and he said that he wont transfer the call to his supervisors as they are busy. He mentioned that there will be a callback from Ola. But I dont think they will be calling me back to help me. Also the customer service guys are rude. Though they have the problems from their side, they are not willing to help me get my money.
Dont book a ride with them and have your money locked in their wallet. They are not trust worthy and they dont even maintain a good customer service.
