Safety is still a concern

Hello Readers.

India being one of the largest market in the world, the trends that starts gets a lots of rush in within a short period of time.

There was a time when we used shuttle services for transport and suddenly we had new serivices coming in the market with the increasing use of Smart phone. like OLA, Jugnu, meru, and what not.

The major market share in Vadodara is by OLA cabs. and you can see cars running written ola on them everywhere.

2-3 times I have also tried it for emergency purposes. but somehow my experience with them was not that pleasant.

First of all I had to download an app and register and then had to pay online. all these procedure took a longer time and in that time period I could have easily find a running taxi or rikshaw.

The app is operated self as there is no need of operator.

Later the drives called twice or thrice to inform that I am coming which took almost 20-25 minutes. so it is also a major draw back. Usually we need taxi immediately.

Tour Guide expertise: the drive didn’t know the exact address of my society as it is a new developing area and he was from altogether from a different location. so I had to explain the whole route to him.

Travel Convenience: the car was ok and was in good condition but the driver I couldn’t put trust on. and to travel alone in such cars as you are the only passenger especially after dark is a bit risky. It is not like that private taxi or rikshaw are safe but still these companies are charging more though the safety is a concerned.

I will surely prefer to take a sharing rikshaw with other females instead of hiring alone.

There is still lot to be improved in the service quality and safety measures.

Also the charges seemed a bit high in comparision to the other serivices.
