Once upon a time, ’OLA Cabs’ seemed to be a big boon for the people living in metro cities and even in smaller cities. But, It didn’t work for me as far as my encounter with’OLA’ is concerned.
I had tried using Ola service for the first time in the month of August 2017. We were traveling Gaya from Patna. We booked the cab using the Ola application. After 15 minutes of booking, Ola cab arrived. There were two persons sitting in the front seats of the cab. One was the driver and other was his friend ( I guess) . The person sitting beside the driver was looking weird. We were not feeling comfortable after watching him in the cab, but we couldn’t do anything as we were already too late and we didn’t want to mess with the driver by asking him any question. Our entire focus was to reach our destination as fast as we could.
The journey started and both of them started talking vulgarly like using abusive languages, despicable words, and insensible talks. Meanwhile, they also started singing cheap songs in the cab, we were really feeling disgusted at that time but we decided to sit and relax as the journey was just about 120km which take a maximum of two and a half hour and we want to be journey completed as soon as possible without having an argument with the driver and his friend. But we were wrong, they started driving rashly, and when I said him to drive the car slowly, he slowed down the car but after a few minutes, he again started driving roughly. We were literally disturbed.
Finally, keeping the heart in our mouth, we reached the destination. We were thankful to God that no mishappening had taken place. But, the entire journey was very stressful and horrible.After that incident, I decided to never use Ola for traveling outstation.
