Yesterday, I was booking a ride to go from vileparle to goregaon. I tried for around 15 min and after this one ride was accepted by driver named vijay. App was showing he will take around 20 min to reach my location as he was completing his previous ride. Me and my friend were waiting at our location. I called that driver to make sure that he will be coming for our ride. He said that he is completing one of his ride and asked for destination location. I told him my destination location and he replied that will be reaching my source location in 18 min. I said okay. We were waiting for this ride for more 15 min and then suddenly this driver cancelled my ride and when I tried contacting this driver, he was not picking up my calls. I tried this twice, but he didnt answered my call. We were really iritated with drivers unprofessional attitude. So today morning I tried calling that driver and now picked up my call. I asked him about yesterdays ride and he said that there two driver for this car. The driver which cancelled your ride was not me. But by his voice, I can identify that it was the same driver who cancelled my ride but now he was lieing and deneing that. After this I tried calling ola customer care, they accepted my grievance and said that a strict action will be taken against him within 24 hrs. I hope that strict action will be taken against this unprofessional driver.
I am attaching the detail photo of this ride along with this review. It is not about cancelling ride rather it is about cancelling ride after customer waited for 20 min at his source location. I hope a strict action is taken against this and many unprofessional driver who take their customer and their time for granted.
Now this instance took place when I was going from vileparle to goregaon. There was a similar instance when I was returning back from goregaon. I booked a ride from goregaon to vileparle and called that driver to be sure that he will coming to pick us up. He told okay I will coming. But after sometime when I called him, he said that he is going to mira road for another ride and wont be coming to pick us. This was testing our patience. This was the second time ola driver has shown a unprofessional attitude. I hope a strict action will be taken against such drivers
Edit 1 : ola customer service executive told that appropriate action will be taken against the driver and I will get the mail regarding this within 24 hrs. But I have yet not recieved any mail regarding my grievance from ola side. I think that ola customer care service is equally unprofessional as their drivers.
