I tried the jalebi and the samosa both made in desi ghee. We all know desi ghee lifts up the taste of anything prepared in it. The unusual shape of the jalebi makes it famous here, because it is not available everywhere, it is thick, huge and rich. It tasted okay, nothing so special or different about it except the bit of an enhancement in taste made by the desi ghee.
The jalebi was served cold, whereas it should be catered hot which brings up the immaculate taste of jalebi. One gets rabdi topping over the jalebi for an additional Rs. 20/ . The jalebi is priced exorbitant and all the high prices because of being cooked in the desi ghee, pointless! . The same ghee is used whole day long for frying which makes it very harmful. The samosa is very petite yet priced like 2 samosas which are double its size.
