Recently I purchased the long awaited mobile from Olive telecom, the VGC-800, in fact the initial launch of olive notebook with tata indicom broadband services made me to believe OLIVE also as a brand in mobile phone industry, (otherwise I would have considered it as another china mobile)
Don’t expect much ultimate features from this mobile, but it has all in it for a common user,
it can hold 2 gsm sim cards and 1cdma sim card and all the sims will work together, only if you are on call on a gsm if some body tries to reach you another gsm number he will get a busy tone, other wise if you are on a GSM call and somebody calls you on CDMA number you will get the call with beeps sound ,
The qwertry key pad is a PLUS thing in this mobile,
it holds a Universal charging point, means that you can charge this mobile by using nokia small pin charger as well as by using v3 charger also.
the battery is the same one which is used in Nokia N85 and N86 models, the BL-5K model.a decent battery, however if you are using all the 3 sim cards at a time then it will last for one day only.you need to recharge it on a daily basis. other wise the battery will last for 3 days for single sim usage(gsm only) for (CDMA it will last for about 1.5days)
it is available in teh market for a decent price of around 5400rs. with 100 days of replacement warranty.
it has direct links for google, facebook, twitter, opera mini browser and can hold 4GB memory card. 1000 contacts and 500 SMS.added to that your sim card memory will give you much more space for your contacts list.
