A mature ending!

Unlike most of the other readers & people who have read the book, I find this book as good as or even better than “Love story”. Surprised?? Read on…

This book is the sequel to “Love Story” which has been critically acclaimed & is among the favorite for all the romantics of the world. But I strongly feel that this book has been greatly overshadowed by the success of its prequel. This book starts with 18 months after the death of Jennifer. It shows that Oliver finds himself unable to come out of the sorrow of his wife’s death & is totally immersed in work with no social life. The book is about his struggle to start a new phase of life. He finds himself unable to start afresh in search of love again & when he finds that love, the old bonds refuse to part & he can’t move on in life.

A lot of people say that what is Oliver’s problem? He is shown to be lucky enough to get another chance to have true love in his life, but he blew it! What people have to understand is that life is not as simple & straight as we think. There are many complexities which one finds unable to tackle & we should accept the fact that may be 2 year was enough time for him to get over the past & start afresh.
