I’ve sold stuff on OLX in the past and had 2 major problems:
1) LOTS of Quikr spammers, time wasters and perverts who don’t know that OLX is where to go to buy consumer goods, they seem to think it’s Tinder.
2) Ultra ignorant, stupid, lumpen staff who refuse to learn anything. I listed a used ECONOMICS book called Outrage which was written by a man named Dick Morris. Gutter brains at OLX deleted the ad and refused to let me even put a pic of the book because the author’s first name is Dick. They said I was posting obscenity! I tried repeatedly to explain to these illustrious linguists that Dick is a nick name for Richard, just as Bill is a nick name for William. They argued with me, told me I am wrong, continued to accuse me of posting obscenity! Context is a very taboo thing for their stunted, inbred, protein starved brains to process!
3) Tonight I begrudgingly downloaded the app again because I need to sell my Godrej washing machine. Literally 1 hour after posting the ad, some mental cripple marked it sold and deleted it! I had the hassle of re-writing/posting, then again, within an hour, dejavu! Again they marked it sold and deleted it!
I uninstalled this garbage. Screw all these ad apps, they all got some scam. Better to go old school and print flyers for public display if you got consumer goods to sell.
