I purchased more than 50% of the household items from olx, while settling down in Bengaluru. Most of the person I met and bargained with were good people(that of course depends on your luck), but the helpfulness of this app and site is great. You don’t need to purchase brand new products everytime or go and bargain at retails shops when u can deal with same kind of people as you at home.
Also, sometimes you get best deals over products like double bed, refrigerator, washing machines, mattress, tables, chairs, iron table, shoe rack, etc.
Just we need to be aware of certain vendors who post their ADs on olx and cheat the customers. Never trust anyone blindly, always do visit the place, examine the product thoroughly that you are going to purchase and then make the payment.
