OLX is not a new name around, its been a while that this website came into existance and now it is doing good business but today I will tell you about an incident which happened with me recently on this site. Couple of weeks back I posted an ad to sell my Guitar as I was planning to buy a new upgraded one so after couple of days I got a message that someone is interested in the product so I was very happy and started the conversation with the customer, he asked me many question as to why I want to sell my guitar and is there any problems with it, all questions were very common and genuine, which every buyer will ask the seller.
Now what happen was that he tried to negotiate the amount and we agreed to 3000 INR so after couple of minutes I got a message that 13000 INR has been deposited in my account and I was shocked and soon after he texted me saying that by mistakenly he sended me 10000 rupees extra and he requested me to send him back through Paytm so I agreed.
Before proceeding I thought of checking my bank balance so I asked him to wait for a while when I check my bank balance to which he started sending me so many messages that it was urgent and that he needs to send that amount to his mother who is waiting to pay her hospital bill, I sensed something fishy and soon contacted my cousin bro who is working in a bank and he told me that it is not possible that I got the money so instant within seconds and then I checked my bank a/c and I was shocked to see that not a single rupees was deposited, my face turned red and than after few mins I came back to sense and I texted him and scolded him badly, he refused to receive my phone calls, I tried with various alternate number but soon it because out of reach.
So friends you have seen how I was fooled and my God grace I was safed or else I would have ended up losing 10000 INR, please be very careful and if somebody assure you that he sended you money on your bank a/c than very patiently wait and check your a/c. God bless you all.
