I bought this in mid 2005 at Bristol Camera, Bristol. I got a japanese make and that too at a jackpot price of just 250 pounds ( incl. extra memory of 512 MB , Tripod, intl warranty and lens cleaner). I have taken about 2000 snaps and I enjoyed taking pictures. I think C770 is poor in low light but can be used very effectively with c770 external flash. Though S2 is better than this the size of c770 is a winner you can put into your coat pocket and use it wherever you go. Remote is the biggest advantage of C770. The model is not available in market but it’s price has doubled in few US stores from about $299 to about $550. So I got a camera which has very good value for money !!!!
