Omegle is not what it used to be once. It is basically an online platform which allows/offers you to chat with strangers from around the world or in other words it is a dating site. But now-a-days it has become a platform to advertise and endorse websites for some people. Even-though omegle has brilliant speed and connectivity I would call it a waste, not because of the services or the content they provide but because of the kind of traffic that is present on it. Only a few fraction of the total traffic are genuine users and the rest are bots or people who post the advertisement links for their websites. Most of the users there lure you to their website by posting links with some catchy and luring caption, that is nowhere related to the actual content or the purpose you joined omegle.
One good thing about omegle is that it is free and doesnt require any registration, but that also in one way is disadvantageous as it attracts a lot of fake users who use it as a platform for gathering traffic for their websites by posting their links.
It is really hard finding a genuine user on omegle these days; as soon as you connect with someone they post some link and leave. Omegle also needs to develop its contents a bit, it sometimes feels like a medieval website.
