I’m one of those victims who has to go through a lot of trouble by opting for these guys. I was looking for some good Packers and Movers and searched in Sulekha.com, they have shown results and one of them is OMX. These guys called me, came to my home in Pune and gave a quotation of 17K. We bargained for 13.5K. In the quotation, they cleverly won’t tick Insurance and Service Tax THOUGH they confirm that the 17K rupess includes everything from Packing to loading to shipping to service tax to insurance to unloading. I trusted these idiots and went ahead for movement of goods. They packed the goods very poorly and shipped them to bangalore.
Goods were shipped from Pune on saturday and by friday they have reached bangalore. This is where the actual story started. Once goods has reached bangalore, one guy(NOT from OMX) said they will deliver it to your home on confirmation of payment to Pune guy Sandeep. I called him to deliver the goods and will pay the amount. Then he said I have to pay 22.5K rupees in advance then only the goods will be delivered. I WAS SHOCKED. We initially agreed upon 13.5k. He said he didn’t agree for 13.5K and said I have to pay ST and Insurance on top of the quoted 17K which comes around 22.5K. My God! Then I approached police in Bangalore and filed a complaint. Police called this idiot Sandeep and asked them to bring the goods van to police where the issue can be resolved. All this happened and only after transfering the amount of 17K(Yes 17K, I had to pay 3.5k extra on top of actual agreed amount of 13.5k)
Once I receive the goods, I see that the almirah door is broken. Looks like they tried to open it for stealing. Many goods were damaged. I really had to go through hell dealing with these guys. NEVER EVER GO FOR OMX. Pune’s guy name is Sandeep.
