I had the unfortunate experience of using Omx International. I took the insurance of 5 lakh rs but never got insurance papers, My relocation was from Bangalore to Vadodra. when I received the good in vadodra So much of my furniture, oil paintings and china were either chipped, scratched or ruined. My designer/vintage handbags also arrived like an elephant sat on them. But what was most devastating, was my grandmothers heirloom chairs that were destroyed! One of them literally split in half! Last but not least, some of my valuables were either lost or stolen such as an oriental rug and a small crystal chandelier and an expensive box of boots, etc.
They offered me 2000 rs for all my loss then their last settlement offer of 5000 rs ., I kept o asking them to give the insurance papers so I could take this to the insurance company, but they said they have talked to the insurance company(united India Insurance) as they say, the insurance company is only offering 5000 rs and cannot do anything more . Also they said I I write any thing bad about their company online they would not pay me anything, finally after 1 month and after over 100 calls they have deposited 4000 rs to my account . it was a bad decision of mine to take these as my moving company and I don’t want this happening to others so I did not accept.
Use someone else and KEEP YOUR VALUABLES SAFE!
