I had booked a courier with ondot company on 8th August 2014 from the Kangra outlet in Himachal Pradesh bearing the docket no.710343070.
Though the above consignment was booked on 8th August, 2014 but inspite of more than one month having passed the courier has not been delivered. Moreover I have multiple times contacted the customer care no 01133588888 which unfortunately cannot be reached easily as most of the time the calls are unattended or simply bounced off from one extension to another and ultimately get disconnected. Whenever I made contact I was curtly told the matter would be looked into and they will get in touch. A complaint no 1272 was also assigned about 25 days back, but so far neither the courier has been delivered. I was told on 19th August that the courier is with them and that they will deliver it the next day,
I am running after the so called customer care or rather I should say the customer harassment officers for the last more than 25 days and never I would repeat never got any response whatsoever.I have mailed Ms. Leena, Ms. Laxmi and talked to other CC officers of the Delhi office . They too have now stopped responding to my calls on the their mobile numbers.
From all this it is very clear that when contacted on 19th August the courier was with them and then they misplaced, stole or misappropriated the courier. Then all these numbers 8377005316, 8377005396, 8377005345, 8377005343 and 9805930778 stopped responding to my calls and also I too had been through enough of their unprofessional and careless attitude. I then contacted Mr.S Dixit the vice president of the company on 26th Aug who instructed her customer services head Ms. Leena Roy to resolve the complaint. She told me that their Gurgaon office is not responding to their queries. Few calls later she told me that they have declared the consignment as lost and according to the directions of their vice president they would pay the cost of the consignment to me and penalise their Gurgaon branch so that my harassment is over.
Now, being the Vice President of this company in a senior position, I expected that he would not approve of this behaviour and misappropriation from his company whom unsuspecting customers like me entrust their belongings.
Surprisingly even after 30 days nothing has been done. Ms Leena Roy too stopped taking my calls and responding to my mails and the one time I made contact told me that the claim will be authorised by Mr Dixit whom too I have reminded by mail twice but he too did not reply back. Now if this is the attitude of the vice president of the company and customer services head of Ondot couriers no wonder the lower level employees will indulge in theft and misappropriation from the company. Seeing the number of complaints against On dot it seems they are running a racket rather than a company with highly unprofessional people like Ms Leena Roy(who starts shouting at customers also speaks volumes about her upbringing) managing the CSD, no wonder the companys belongs in the gutter.
