All of Preethi Nairs books, "gypsy masala", "one hundred shades of white", "beyond indigo" and "color of love" are beautifully written books for people who love the written word but dont want a heavy read. What makes it so well-written? the prose and one very small fact... remember the old adage 2 sides to a coin? Preethi nair excels in showing the reader both the sides of a situation! If there is a fight between the mother and daughter for example...
First the daughters point of view and then the experience is relived through the mothers point of view.... that does not mean it drags.. All of her books are also crisply written. Preethi nairs books are for women who like reading about simple or complex relationships, especially women who dont want their books to be either too frivolous or too heavy. umm... somewhat between mills and boon and kafka... try it out... u wont regret it!!
