Trying something new in which you dont have enough understanding can lead to the havoc. Chetan Bhagats One Indian Girl is a true example in this context. It is a story of a confused girl who does not know what she wants from her life. Yes she is talented, she earns well but the girl has got no character. First of all the title of the book is not justified with what we get to know once we read the book. Which Indian girl do things like these; getting involved in a relationship with the man who is married, lying to parents and relatives, running from the marriage. Mr. Bhagat, in trying to liberalize the society, has forgotten the roots and cultures of Indian Society.
If you are a happy ending story lover, please dont go for this book, because the book promises no end. Yes, it is true, there is no end in this book. Next, the language of this book is very impulsive and contains some words which might give you the impression as if you are reading an adult book with lots of sex. Mr. Bhagat fails in giving an emotional but loving touch that we got to read in Half Girlfriend and Revolution 2020.
So, Once again I would advise you not to go for this book.
