Bhagat,dissapoints....

Well, this was first book which I read offered from Chetan Bhagat....

The story started as a bright idea about God calling and solving people’s problems and stuff like that, but wait till you read further and realize how horribly it is executed by Bhagat...the writing is tedious and uninspiring and even though the book is less then 280 pages, it seems as if it is going on forever...

The story in the first 125 pages of the book wander everywhere else than the story described at the back cover of the book....even if you don’t read the first 125 pages of the book, you won’t miss much.Just when you begin to curse yourself for buying the book and wasting your time, the story suddenly spurts out from nowhere and makes  itself more readable(or let’s say , moderately edible to chew upon), you arch for the book to end ....cause till then, as a reader of the book, you have already lost interest in the story and are finishing it just for the sake of it (Many of them would have dumped it in garbage or sold it for 1/3 money to the paper-vendor)....

Nonetheless, without being over-critical, it won’t be wrong to say that this book is horrible, the language used goes beyond the highest boundaries of vulagarity and it doesn’t deserve to have the name of Bhagat, with a caliber like his, on the book

If you really want to read Chetan Bhagat, then read some of his really good works like "2 States"(You can also read my review on this book here on the site), "3 mistakes of my life" etc...

You can also read my reviews on books like: The godfather, Da vinci code, The alchemist, Charlie and the chocolate factory etc.....
