One Assist is not a insurance company, but a CHOR company!
The mission of company is to exhaust customers till they are frustrated with the process and finally get phone fixed by their own expense.
This is how they exhaust their customer, until customer is frustrated and finally gives up:
1) There is too much process, impossible for a lay man to get through it.
2) They want customer to upload pictures of damage phone, detailed description, IMIE Code, invoice number, identification proof etc.
3) They want in-depth description on how exactly damage took place. Rediculos thing is they aren’t going to call you, its you who have to remain intuitive on why is taking so long! Once you call they will tell you the description is not satisfactory and they need more details.
4) Once everything is clear from your side they will tell you it will take 48 hours to pick up which they never do.
5) Again when you call at customer service center, for the status of pickup, they will ask the pin code and reply "your location isn’t covered in pick up zone and you will have to courier the phone."
6) The shocking thing is, a premium location like MATUNGA MUMBAI - 4000019 is not there pickup location! Its the area where they sell their insurance at every mobile shop.
7) Although, when they have all the details and address of the customer, but till this point they keep location thing a big secret. Its means they purposely want to sleep till a customer is frustrated and emotionally exhausted with follow-ups.
Till you reach here, its already 5 to 7 days passed. If at all you are still fortunate to get through its another another 25 days for you to get your phone fixed.
One Assist is only looking for their gain and nothing else! They aren’t interested in any customer service. Its a fraud company.
A total waste of time and energy!
