Bought one plus 2 in october 2015. convinced my sister in law also to buy one. lucky for her that she got it first. worked like a charm.
In dec 2015 it had a issue with the finger print scanner. I called up the customer care od one plus. they didn’t provide a solution. they just said bring the phone to the service centre and we will try to solve the issue. the nearest centre was 400 kms away.
I had thought ill courier it to them. just as I was thinking about it I looked up the one plus forms for anyone else who has the same issue. looks like many had a similar problem. and to my surprise the solution was also as simple . it took me just minute to clear the finger print cache and voila, it started working again.
I was saved from the pain of sending the mobile to the service centre. from then onwards it is working like a gem. I have downloaded the latest 2.2.1 oxygen os on it. no problem so far. since then I managed to convonce my friends also to buy it. they also thank me for suggesting a good mobile to them. the finish of the mobile is very good. good materials. doesn’t look or feel cheap.
Camera had lazer focus also. it is dual sim standby mobile. so the other sim is off while you are talking on the other sim. but as I see almost all phones have the same standby dual sim. there is a minor issue that the sim selection gets reset everytime you select. so it asks you always from which sim you want to call. but I think its a very small issue which will be resolved. very nice phone. worth the money. would suggest it to people who are thinking of buying it. forum of one plus will solve your problems faster than customer care.
