Oneplus launched its latest smartphone in early 2017 with a launch price of Rs 29999 for the 64 gb variant. The built quality of the smartphone is very good and the in hand feel of the device is quite premium. It basically comes in two variants- the soft gold and the gunmetal variant. The fingerprint sensor is one of the best fingerprint sensor present in the market of smartphones and it is very responsive and tactile. The oneplus 3t houses a 3400 mAh battery which just works perfectly for a full day usage. Along with the dash charge support there is no complaints with the oneplus 3t. It does support OTG compatibility without any issues.
Moving on to the software of the device, the oneplus 3t is powered by an octacore snapdragon 621 chipset which is well known for its performance. Coupled with the adreno 530 GPU, the device handles anything you throw at it with ease. There is no complaints on the performance of the device. Even heavy graphics oriented games are completely lagfree as the snapdragon 621 chipset does its job just perfectly. The dual sim device is having a 64 gb internal storage and there is no slot for the micro sd card which is not at all a good news. It has 6 gb RAM and the RAM management of the phone is satisfactory. The cellular networks are having no issues as call quality is just as clear as it should be. The 5.5 in super AMOLED display is vibrant and is just perfect for watching videos and movies. The screen is protected with corning gorilla glass 4. It runs on oneplus oxygen OS which is a sort of stock android I would say but as a whole the phone is just perfect in most of the aspects. Moving on to the camera performance, the oneplus 3t is having a 16 MP rear facing(with OIS) as well as front facing shooter which I feel does a better job in capturing photos and videos as compared to the regular oneplus 3. The speaker quality is good and is clear.
The oneplus 3t is an amazon exclusive and the billing is done by amazon itself with 1 year manufacturing warranty. Talking about the customer service, oneplus has not yet established a wide range of service centres in India whatsoever. Although it allows on site services which is on my opinion very time consuming for the issues to get fixed.
