One plus 5 and 5t both have same configuration and only difference is bezel less diplay. Both boots with snapdragon 835 processor, 20& 16mp dual rear camer and 16mp front camera. Both the device has only 3300mah battery. Not a major improvement. Hower one plus confirmed oreo layout out of the box. Same two variation 6gb and 8gb of ram. The only thing you find new is its display featured with 5.5inch Fhd bezel less display. My suggestion, its not a upgrade. One plus 5 users can continue in the same and wait till next phone from one plus.
