Hands on experience:
With the device on your hand, the first thing you experience is the size. It feels very good to hold. It.s small size makes one hand operation of the device very easy. The Onyx glass finish of the device is a very nice touch and its smoothness makes you gets addict to it. Even it made me an addict and I cannot keep my hands off the device for a few days. The metal frame of the device has nice quality to it. You can notice the alert bar on the left side which can be used to set the device to 3 default modes: All notifications, Priority interruptions only or no interruptions.
When you switch on the device, the first thing you notice is the quality of the display. The display is crisp and clear and with 441 ppi the images looks sharpand has good contrast levels to it. The black looks really black thanks to the AMOLED screen. The brightness level is also good. You can notice the capacitive bottons at the bottom of the display but it is hard to notice the symbols. You have to get used to the device to know the position of the buttons.
The performance of the device is also very good for its range. Gaming performance is good and is acceptable. The device gets warm when dealing with high graphics games but not upto uncomfortable levels.
The camera quality is great and with 8MP front facing camera, you can make great selfies. The shutter speed is good. The interface is very spartan type with very limited options. Other than that the camera makes good quality photos which is more than necessary for ordinary use.
The battery although only 2525mah, it can make it through one day with moderate amount of usage. When performing battery draining tasks such as high graphics gaming and multi tasking, the device can survive upto 4 hours approximately.
To conclude finally, device is an all rounder with good rating in all the segments . Although it makes some hate it due to the invite system, it will be available in open sale sooner.
