I had purchased a ONIDA microwave oven about seven months ago from an authorized dealer, M/S KAMALIA SONS, RANCHI.. After using it sparingly for just five months, it stopped working one fine morning. I contacted local service centre, a person reported and informed that PCB had got damaged???. He expressed his helplessness in replacing the PCB as he had no spare.
After two long months, lot of persuasions and much of embarrassment, the man once again turned up to say that PCB was OK and the switch was defective. Once again, he had no spare, and since then no one is answering to my calls and complaints. Even the authorized customer care cell of ONIDA does not care for customers call.
Lesson: Do not get swayed by ONIDAs punch line **Neighbours Envy & Owners pride???. DONT BUY ANY ONIDA PRODUCT. THEY ARE SHORT LIVED AND SERVICING IS EXTREMELY POOR.
