My LED FIRE TV model 43 FIF not connecting to remote as well as WIFI, It looks WIFI card faulty, Called customer care on dated 19.12.2022 and someone came without multimeter or any other instrument without any spare parts and checked My Fire TV at home and told me the same thing . I asked him to replace the card bue 7t he told me that card not available and it will take 7 to 10 days for part. I asked them to come with the part and replace the same, but on contrary they asked me to pay service charges Rs 750/- first and then only they will order the part.
I asked them to bring the part first and take all the money in one go as it was not assured by them that it is mistake of WIFI card only.
After that with no other option, I was compelled to pay Rs 750 and waited for 15 days but no one or no reply came from ONIDA side, so I called customer care & they informed that part not available . Again after passing of 01 week the answer was the same . So the final situation is this that even after passing of around 01 month ONIDA people and service center do not pick up my phone so I called from my other number and still answer is same that part not available.
I think ONIDA is one of the worst brand available in INDIA and everyone should avoid purchasing the same as my TV stopped working as soon as warranty ended and now same cannot be repaired as parts not available anywhere, even with ONIDA itself. ONIDA has worst or no after sales service available. They do not have any service center in NOIDA.
Other renowned company like LG, Samsung etc do not compel customer to pay SERVICE charges first as ONIDA did to me, other good brands first bring spares and repair & then only take complete payment whereas in ONIDA case they just charge you the service charges that is around 3 times more compare to charges of other good company and after that they just forgot or leave customer on there own and in end customer keep calling them and in further end they block their numbers, WHAT A GREAT SO CALLED MAKE IN INDIA COMPANY. what a pity
