I had purchased a onida 32 inches form vijay sales ghatkopar in april 2015.with in 3 months of purchase, the screen did not show images.i complained on the onida help line number.after 10 days, the person from onida service station came and collected the tv.after 2 weeks, they returned the tv saying that it was repaired but not reveal what was repaired.
after 2 months, again same problem repeated and I called service personnel directly.he said that vehicle for pick and drop has been stopped by onida indefinetely.so either I may choose to drop the tv myself or wait fro dont-know how long.
I went and dropped the tv and said that since within 6 months of purchase if the tv has problems twice, then whats the assurance that it will function smoothly, i wanted to know the procedure for replacement.the person cooly said that as long as it is in warranty period, it will be repaired 100 times, but wont be replaced and I am so much worried then I may buy extended warranty by paying some more money so that I can have peace of mind.
this bugged me off.i went to vijay sales and placed a complaint over there.they made me talk to mr sanjay sawant, from onida, who apollogised for delay and assured me that it will be repaired in 2-3 days.
I go to vijay sales every 4th day, complain and same assurance is given to me.
its been one month my tv is lying with the service station.
practically in 7 months I have bought the tv, its worked for me only for 4 months.
I shuuder to think if I would have bpught a costlier product from them in lacs, what would have been my condition?
we are totally at their mercy for repair and replacement
