I wish I had read all these reviews a little earlier, before buying the swanky new product Black beauty 28 L. What ails me is the low grade PCB and Panel that they install in such an expensive product. I am sure it can never be a neighbours envy " its more likely "Our misery, neighbours happy"(that they dint buy it) kind of a product.
Its hardly a few months old and one fine day -it refused to start . I called the "service centre" who have absolutely low grade employees like the product, they dont know how to speak nor do they know whether they are going or coming. Constant follow up for more than a week, got me the managers number, who seems as helpless as his employees. He was not even able to allot his technician to visit the place for another week. cause he kept thinking that they would visit my house and the technicians were obviously taking him for a ride too.
After finally calling a zillion times - one poor soul came home and in 5 minutes announced that the PCB was down and he would need to procure one ., he also said that he will come back in 2 days . but its been 4 weeks now and though I am constantly following up with the manager and his technician its been a total misery for me as they keep saying the same thing "PCB not available" - If this is the service ONIDA is giving to its customers I am glad I am not buying another single product from the company. Definitely never in my life time.Id rather stick to the samsung and the IFBs .
A message to Onida - " Guys indians are neither backward nor stupid any more , gear up your attitude. and try to service your customers better! at least get a better service team. Cause sooner or later people will realize they are being fooled and you will have to suffer the brunt of it! Not enough to just pay commissions to the sales guy who sells us your products with empty promises.Also, Its not enough to just have a feedback page on your website! The text space needs to be activated too. so if you are serious about customer service, begin with activating your site and actively receiving feedback!
One thing is for sure. I wont hesitate to throw the microwave on the face of the service centre and lodge a complaint with the consumer court if they delay any more. I cant imagine how people are still waiting for service even after 30 days.
