I am very happy that Onida has brought back the devil, after experimenting with various types of brand promotions like Candy (remember ??? ) over the last few years.
KY Oxygen is 21 inch pure flat TV from stables of Onida. I would rate the picture quality better than that of Sony Trinitron. It has in-built digital eye system (remember LG advertisement which makes every mother cry). It has powerful sound system with 400 watts PMPO. I can imagine setting up a theatre for a 15 feet X 15 feet hall.
It comes a remote control which is very user-friendly. This can help you get exact sound and video setting you want. And if you don’t like what is on TV, but want to ’’listen to’’ the program. A sturdy headphone is also bundled.
Oxygen provides investment protection as a it has advanced feature like DVMC (wait till cable service operators support it :-) )
I got one with four year warranty (Olympic to Olympic) at cool 12, 800 Rs. (as against the MRP of Rs 15, 500/-
Now the down side :-) Here is a company that needs lessons in product quality. Week One - I notice golden embossing from letter A was missing. Left hand corner has some cotton like gray material sprouting!!! Mr Mirchandani wake up!!! you have been in this business long enough!!!
