After using videocon for many years we decided to bring a new TV which delivers good picture & sound quality, I had two option in my mind Sony & Onida when I went to buy, I saw onida KY thunder 29" with great looks & what was most interesting was its detachable sub woofer, I bought this TV 7 years ago at that time its price was 27, 000.
This TV delivers excellent picture quality & superb sound, I use it as a music system too.Initially I used to listen music through aiwa walkman, I thought of connecting it to TV I brought a cable connected it to TV, really the music was crystal clear with true bass effect.
Its having option of surround sound & bass blaster which can be enabled or disabled. It’s truly a TV cum Music system.the only problem is if you enable bass blaster you will not be able to get the woofer/bass effect until you cross volume level 5.
Until now have not faced any problems with this TV or detachable sub woofer & not even with the remote so cant say anything about service.
