I bought Onida AC(S12TRC5) 2 months back from Vijay Sales, Mumbai for 24K. The service centre person(a vendor, off course) installed it after few follow-ups for 1500/-, but no demo was given. When we used it for the first time, we found that condensed water is leaking from internal unit. It took me ONE MONTH and scores of follow-up & reminder calls to Onida service centre and to the head-office, to get the problem resolved. But, the guy who fixed it, did not connect the pipes properly and all the gas leaked within same day. Result - No cooling any more. As of today, the AC is non-working and I am still running from pillar to post.
Don’t ever think of buying Onida AC if you are staying in western suburbs of Mumbai. Service here sucks. Moreover, even Onida headoffice don’t have any control over it.
