It is a great blessing that online shopping has come to India. Amazon and Flipcart top the list in terms of price and efficiency. Buying books online has become mind blowing as there is great competition, locating a book not available in shops is easy, and prices are sometimes so satisfying.
(I almost asked a friend to buy a book from Barnes and Nobles for about$100/, when I found it on something I think was calledPRINT ASIA for under Rs 500/
Localbaniya.com is a great idea, very efficient, but its prices are not as great as some malls like d mart, Star, and a few others. Still the idea of saving on a trip and the carrying up of bags to my flat makes me use the online experience even for groceries. It allows also for date and time of delivery.
For frozen foods, clothing and shoes, I prefer shopping at malls. Online problems with refrigerated delivery vans, adequate stock, sizes, and refunds will take a while to resolve.
