Warranty Bazaar Extended Warranty Beware!

Please do not purchase any extended warranty from warranty bazaar.com. They are fraud and never provide any warranty services. Please read my experience before purchasing any warranty from them.


My HP laptop’s warranty got expired 2-3 months ago. One day I got call from a guy, he told me that he is speaking from HP, he told me that I can extend my laptop’s warranty for another one year.


Then he asked me my laptop’s serial number, He looked into database and said your laptop’s warranty is already expired so instead of HP, warranty bazaar will handle my warranty.


(As he told me all the details of my laptop based on serial key, I thought he is genuine guy.)


Still I refused to purchase the warranty and asked him for some time to think. He keep calling me in every 2-3 days. Finally I decided to go with warranty and made the payment of 5200/- on IVR line as guided by this guy.


After making payment he told me that within 1 week health checkup of my laptop will be done and my warranty will be activated if health checkup will be passed. After few days a guy from Wipro(I surprised as why they sent wipro service engineer) visited my home and done some investigation of my laptop. (Checking for hardware software issues). Then he told me that my laptop’s health checkup is passed and he will send his report to warranty bazaar.


After few days I got warranty certificate, invoice of payment and other document from warranty bazaar.


Few days later I got issue in my laptop, I called their customer care, they said complaint is logged and it will be resolved in 4-5 days.


Since then I am regularly calling these guys but they are just avoiding me. It is more that 20 days but still no response from their side. They just said your complaint is in progress and it will be resolved, sometime they give excuses like their wi-fi is not working, system up gradation is going on, there is problem with mail server etc etc blah blah.


Few point to be noted here:




  1. They have one customer care number which is always busy. Anytime you call it is busy.




  2. They will not reply to your mail if you complain via mail.




  3. They will even not provide complain number for your complain If you ask them to provide complain number they make excuses like wi-fi is not working, there is some problem with mailing server, system upgradation is going on etc. etc.




  4. When you make payment you need to really struggle with them to get invoice for the payment.




  5. Even after health checkup is passed, you have to struggle to get warranty certificate.




  6. I have also done some R&D on Google and also spoken with some guys who got trapped in  their warranty offer, All have same experiences. So guys please beware and make decision wisely.
