THIS MAY BE A BIT OFF SUBJECT, BUT I WANTED TO ADD THIS SHORT REVIEW, AND DIDN’T KNOW WHERE TO PUT IT.
The past few days I’ve been reading some bad reviews about MouthShut. I read and I listen to what everyone is saying. BUT I MAKE UP MY OWN MIND AND COME TO MY OWN CONCLUSIONS!
I have visited a few other writing sites, joined and wrote some reviews on each one over the past few days, and here is my opinion and my conclusion.
The sites I visited are nothing compared to MouthShut! These sites do not pay American writers. The 1 site that does pay American writers, is not paying anyone anymore! Their community is not as tightly woven as MouthShut. Although I was warmly welcomed by ’’some members, ’’ I felt very out of place.
The sites are really laid out differently and are at times difficult to get around in. Whereas on MouthShut, the layout is user friendly, and very easy to get around.
I still feel that MouthShut is the best get paid to write site! And I will continue to write here as long as they will have me. As for the other sites, I do not feel that strong sense of community. I also did not feel there was the same kind of open and honest feelings.
Regardless of what some people are saying here on MouthShut, I will still believe and trust that they will abide by their promises to us.
SOME POINTS...
Member to member E-mail, rather than giving out everyone’s E-mail address, is a good idea! MouthShut does not want to be blamed for any harassing , obscene, or nasty E-mail being sent to members. If they do censor the M2M E-mail for content, it is their right to do so. It is still part of the MS site. Don’t write anything you wouldn’t want seen. Through M2M E-mail, I have made some friends here who have given me their personal E-mail addresses in M2M E-mails. It has never been censored, and I do communicate with these people.
The management of MS I feel have also gone out of their way to be helpful to us and I have received replies to my many E-mail inquiries to them.
If MS wants to keep the reward system from us and surprise us with whatever means of payment we will receive, it’s okay with me. I just enjoy writing, reading and commenting.
As I said earlier, I will continue to write here for as long as they will allow me to. As for the other sites, they really don’t give me the same sense of community as I feel here. (No offense to anyone who writes there at all)
I hope MS remains up and running for a long time. I’d truly miss you all if it didn’t.
