I have gone through very bad phase of shopping with ShopClues.com.
There was laptop table ordered on ShopClues.com.
When I received it, itS height was smaller than expected so I raised return of product with all packaging intact.
Customer Care confirmed me that Reverse pickup would be done in day or two but after 1 week on Saturday I got some misleading call of having won INR 12 Lac 60 thousand as Tata Safari or encashment of same on same order which was to be reverse picked up.
It seemed to be Courier Company Guys hired by ShopClues.com taking undue advantage of reverse pickup as one time they had been scolded for not bringing reverse pickup receipt, due to which they attempted fraudulent message over my mobile confirming the Lucky Draw winner of Tata Safari or Cash Rs. 12.60 Lacs from ShopClues.com online shopping portal.
Then they told me to pay registration fees of INR 3500 and Inter City tax of INR 13, 200, which due to trust on ShopClues.com online shopping I had to do.
After that I was surprised when the person told me to pay INR 36, 500 as processing charges and INR 88, 000 as 7% GST which I told them to deduct from Lucky Draw but the person insisted that this needs to be done else the money you have paid till now will be non-refundable.
PLEASE BEWARE OF THIRD PARTY COURIER COMPANY GUYS COMING TO YOUR PLACE AND DELIVERING/GATHERING REVERSE PICKUP as these are grass root people with tendency to violate the society’s posh culture the most since they could not enjoy a drink or cup of coffee sitting by our side.
I had lost so much money in this and still till date no money has come to me as my unlucky or lucky draw.
Till now it was the NetBanking which became prone to fake callers for some reward or gift or vacation for couples.
But now this has started happening with Online Shopping portals as well, as these offer lucrative discounts/offers and at times surprise people with above events which may have been done at grass root level or either as these culprits being FUKREY(WORTHLESS) in the market or bias towards some individual or else.
For time being, I have filed FIR against them and the people would be caught red-handed one day.
BEWARE OF ONLINE SCAMS ON SHOPPING PORTALS TOO WHICH COULD EARLIER BE RELIED FOR PROFESSIONALISM BUT NOW CORRUPT PEOPLE ARE SPOILING THEIR IMAGES AS WELL.
PLEASE ASK YOUR RESIDENT WELFARE ASSOCIATIONS TO HAVE CCTV CAMERAS VIGILANT TO KEEP AN EYE ON SUCH CRIMINALS or NEW VIRUS FOR SOCIETY.
PLEASE DON’T WELCOME THESE COURIER GUYS OUT OF DECENCY/COURTESY TO STEP INTO YOUR HOME AS THESE ARE BETTER TO STAY OUT OF POSH SOCIETIES(FAST-BUDDING AND SPREADING PLAGUE ON NATION’S PRIDE).
