Now the story line starts in a way that an old man beg the conductor of the bus for a seat, but every one neglect’s the old man and that old man is Sathyaraj (Madavar ) .One youngster of his home town who boarded the bus rescues and give him a seat near him.You may ask why these thinks happen in cinema?.It’sbecause if no one come’s to rescue, the director has to end his story.We cannot expect these helping tendency youngsters in real life.
The bus starts its journey, the youngster ask sathyaraj about lot of things which comes as an flashback for us, the audience.
Madavar padayatchi, works hard to bring up his wife(Archana) and childrens by working hard in field.But one son falls in love with a girl who is below their status.Other daughter in laws wants completete freedow from father in law, so madavar decides to give up all his hardwork earnings and property to his childrens and leaves the village with his wife.
Madavar with his wife archana reaches Nazar and Rohini who belong to muslim family, for whom madavar has helped a lot.Nazar asks madavar to stay at his house.Nasar gives some acre of land for the couple and money as a sign of showing his thanks.But fate dint stop it kills madavar’s wife(archana).The irony is that before that they both, madavar and his wife decides to leave to their home village.Then after Nazar goes for treatment, but his relatives overthrow madavar, so madavar decides to go back to his village.
Madavar reaches bus stand, board a bus but he has been again rejected by fate as well by passengers of the bus.This is the starting sceen of the film.But the youngster who is from the same village takes care of madavar help him in reaching his village, and give him a place to stay in his house.
Now madavar goes in search of his son’s, find them in a vary bad shape finally die in the farm.
Eventhough the film portrays lot of pain and reality, but film point it needs some twist and turn.that is lacking in this movie.The director thankar bachan has even made us to remember about his previous movie pallikodam, alagi whereby in his movie starts from a village then, the end will be again in the same village.This we call it as" total recall technique".
The main draw back of the film is its lengthy story without any twists and turn.
